2026 starts precociously

Spring has barely begun, and yet it seems that vegetation has already start on.

Here’s a quick look at the different stages of bud development visible as of today, March 27, 2026. (Click on the image to zoom)

It’s mainly the young plants that are the most advanced, but not only them… Depending on the plot, the pruning date, and even from one vine to another, there’s considerable variability.

Last night’s frost wasn’t too severe this time… Let’s hope everything holds up until the warmer weather arrives…
