Chamodère 2016: 91 pts

Lurid ruby. High-pitched, mineral-accented aromas of raspberry liqueur, allspice and lavender. Spicy and precise on the palate, offering zesty red berry, cherry and spicecake flavors taht flesh out steadily with aeration. Shows very good focus and energy, a mineral nuance adds vibrancy to a long, seamless, floral-driven finish.

L’Amourgandise 2016: 90 pts

” Vivid ruby. Fresh, spicy-tinged aromas of dark berries, candied violet and peppery spices. Offers mineral-accented  blackberry, bitter cherry and floral pastille flavors that show good depth as well as energy. A spine of smoky minerality adds lift and cut.  Sharply focused and appealingly sweet on the gently tannic finish, which clings with strong tenacity.

Drinking window: 2019-2024
